GeoSabina on Il Messaggero: Sabina to Explore, Discover and Love

GeoSabina was featured in Il Messaggero with an interview dedicated to the origins of the project, its evolution and the vision that guides its daily work to promote Sabina.

An important opportunity to tell the story of GeoSabina: from a digital platform for cultural and tourist geolocation to an integrated territorial system designed to connect places, events, municipalities, private businesses, experiences, typical products and new forms of local welcome.

A project born from love for Sabina

In the interview, one of the founders of GeoSabina explains how the project was born from the desire to give new strength to a territory rich in resources, but often described in a fragmented way.

“GeoSabina was created precisely to overcome this fragmentation.”

The aim is to collect, organise and make useful information more accessible, both for those who live in Sabina and for those who visit it, building a recognisable and shared network.

Over 200 points of interest and an ever-growing map

One of the central themes of the interview is GeoSabina’s original function: helping residents and visitors discover what to see, what to do and what to experience nearby.

“To date, we have mapped over 200 points of interest.”

Through the website, the free app and the interactive maps, GeoSabina helps users find their way through villages, monuments, churches, panoramic viewpoints, itineraries, accommodation facilities, restaurants, events and local services.

The new GeoSabina Info Point in Poggio Mirteto

The interview also focuses on one of the most important new developments: the opening of the new GeoSabina Info Point inside the Museo Ercole Nardi in Poggio Mirteto.

“A physical space offering assistance, support and information materials.”

The new Info Point was created to connect GeoSabina’s digital world with real local welcome. Inside, visitors can find information materials, a showcase of typical products, GeoSabina merchandising and the pick-up point for E-Bike Park Sabina e-bikes.

Slow, sustainable and quality tourism

The interview also highlights the direction GeoSabina wants to continue supporting: mindful, slow, sustainable tourism connected to the identity of local places.

“We see many walkers and cyclists.”

Sabina is presented as a nearby, authentic territory that is still able to surprise: a place made of villages, nature, traditions, local flavours, routes and small experiences to be enjoyed slowly.

A network to tell the story of the whole Sabina area

GeoSabina works every day to build an increasingly broad territorial network, involving municipalities, private businesses, associations, producers, tourism operators and local communities.

The project is built around this vision: overcoming fragmentation and helping Sabina become a more recognisable, accessible and coherently presented territory.

“To explore, discover and love.”

Three words that clearly express the spirit with which GeoSabina continues to promote the territory
