From 8 to 10 October, “Tevere e Sabina: Amore e Sapore” brings the Tevere Day programme north of Rome, with three days dedicated to the river and the Sabina area

Tevere Day is the major event dedicated to the river that flows through Rome and the territories along its course. Created to bring the Tiber back into the spotlight and encourage people to rediscover and experience the river, the project reaches its eighth edition in 2026.

This year, its story travels further upstream and meets Sabina.

From 8 to 10 October, Poggio Mirteto and Nazzano will be at the heart of “Tevere e Sabina: Amore e Sapore”, the Tevere Day Area Nord programme dedicated to the relationship between the river and the territory it flows through.

Three days to rediscover an ancient connection between Rome and Sabina, linked by the waters of the same river.

GeoSabina will support the initiative as media partner. Our aim will be to tell the story of the Tiber as a central resource for Sabina and highlight the relationship between the river and the territory.
