Smart bench of Montasola

A new technological infrastructure, E-LOUNGE, has been installed in Il Monte Municipal Park, designed to enhance services dedicated to citizens and improve the use of one of the most important green spaces in the Bassa Sabina area.
The project is part of a program to enhance public areas and promote sustainable mobility, with the aim of making the park increasingly modern, accessible, and functional. The E-LOUNGE structure provides a charging point dedicated to e-bikes, encouraging the use of environmentally friendly means of transport and promoting forms of soft mobility linked to tourism and leisure.
There are also USB sockets for charging smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices, offering a useful service to both residents and visitors. To complete the infrastructure, there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot that allows access to the network directly within the park area, improving digital connectivity and allowing the public space to be used as a place of work, study, and sharing.
The installation was carried out thanks to the collaboration with the IV Comunità Montana Sabina, as part of a broader program of redevelopment and innovation of local services. The project contributes to transforming the Il Monte Municipal Park into an increasingly welcoming and technologically integrated meeting place, capable of combining environmental sustainability, innovation, and collective well-being. It is a concrete step towards a smarter territory, attentive to the needs of the community and oriented towards the enhancement of public spaces through modern and sustainable solutions.
