Located at Porta Sabina, the temple is inserted to complete the castle walls. It was renovated at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
The Church hides, behind an eclectically assembled façade, two tabernacles: the one on the left for the custody of the Holy Oils dates back to around the middle of the 16th century, the one on the right, used for the custody of the Eucharist, is attributable to Mino de Reame or the his school (mid 15th century).
At the entrance, a Roman funerary altar from the Flavian age, artistically decorated, serves as a holy water stoup.
