The frescoes and the architectural structure trace the birth to ‘200.
Over the centuries it underwent several restorations and modifications.
The facade shows clear signs of a makeover, and the current portal opened onto an enclosed environment consisting maybe of an extension of the church itself. The frescoes on the counter and on the left wall, the oldest, seem to date back to the fourteenth century.
The apse frescoes are dated 1521, while the frescoes in the chapel of Ippoliti 1621. The bell tower is made up of 5 levels, two of them with mullioned windows and a last hole. The interior is simple classroom where space is punctuated by four pointed arches hinting at the Gothic, resting on pillars.

Originally, there were no side chapels; existing ones were added later. On the left of the entrance, it shows the cycle of paintings for the “Miracle founding of the Whites”. The series of written reports the first inscriptions in the Sabine dialect: “Knight and the three layers of decomposition” depicted on the wall. In the lower part the painting “Deposition of Jesus in the tomb” is surely the most prominent one.
The style is very similar to the manner of Giotto, even though it lacks the emotions on the faces, probably dated sixteenth century.
