Park “il Monte” and Church of Monte

On a hill near the village of Montasola, Il Monte Park is a beautiful green space, well maintained and always alive. Inside there are areas for every need, from a playground for children, spaces of greenery where picnics can be had, a covered hall, an amphitheater that is used during the winter as a skating rink and, of course, a panorama  that gives priceless views of the sunset and the nearby mountains.

In addition, also inside the park, is the Chiesetta del Monte (Church of Monte), also donated by benefactor Franceso Cimini. The church is a simple building with an exposed stone facade and a single-nave interior. The interior of the church is decorated with a fresco depicting the Ascension of Mary.
