Camuccini Park is a green area of about 4 hectares located on the edge of the historic center of Cantalupo in Sabina, in the province of Rieti. Its name comes from its last owners, the Camuccini family, who owned the nearby Cesi-Camuccini Palace since 1862.
The park features mature trees and offers an ideal setting for outdoor activities such as yoga, pilates, meditation and horseback riding. In addition, the local Pro Loco has set up a small kiosk-bar for visitors’ refreshment.
In 2020, Camuccini Park was opened to the public, becoming a gathering place for the community and tourists. Subsequently, an immersive classroom dedicated to environmental education was opened, offering an educational experience in direct contact with nature.
Entrance to the park is free of charge and is located along Via Ternana, with parking available nearby, such as by the church of San Biagio.
Camuccini Park is an important natural and cultural resource for Cantalupo in Sabina, offering an oasis of tranquility and an ideal place for recreational and educational activities.
