Physical effort limited to the steep climb that leads to the village of Nazzano. In case of rain the route can still be cycled, the only drawback is the mud.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to get there<\/strong><br \/>\nTake the A1 motorway north and exit at Ponzano \u2013 Soratte. Immediately after the toll booth, turn right for 200 m until you reach a square near the provincial road to Ponzano where you can park.<br \/>\nFor those who want, halfway through the route you pass near the Monte Libretti station served by urban trains on which bicycles are allowed.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>Km 0.0 \u2013 35 mslm<br \/>\n<\/strong>From the square at the exit of the toll booth, take the provincial road to Ponzano \/ Nazzano \/ Torrita Tiberina<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 1.1 \u2013 35 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nAt a petrol and methane station, leave the provincial road and turn left<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 1.8 \u2013 35 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the crossroads, continue on asphalt to the right. After 400 m, at a crossroads, continue straight. At km 3.1 the road becomes a dirt road and at km 3.6 you find yourself on the edge of the river that you follow along its course<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 4.7 30 \u2013 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nThe main dirt road turns right towards Filacciano. We continue straight through the cultivated fields in a bend of the river<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 6.2 \u2013 30 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nOnce we reach the river we turn right<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 7.1 \u2013 32 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the crossroads we turn left. At km 8.8 we turn right onto the main track<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 9.6 \u2013 30 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nAt a ruined house, before reaching the large pipes of the Peschiera aqueduct, we turn right uphill on asphalt<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 9.9 \u2013 55 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nTake the provincial road downhill for 700 m<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 10.6 \u2013 30 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nWe take the small road downhill, turning right immediately after along the river. The provincial road instead continues with a bridge over the river and reaches the Poggio Mirteto scalo station after about 1 km, where those using the train can begin the route<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 11.2 \u2013 30 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nWe continue straight on the wide dirt road along the river. The numerous signs remind us that we are inside the Tevere Farfa natural park. After 5 km, at an old ferry dock, the road turns right, becomes asphalted and begins to climb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 16.9 \u2013 30 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nAt a large parking lot we take the climb on the right very calmly; 1 km at 15% awaits us<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 18.0 \u2013 163 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nAfter the most challenging stretch of the day, turn left following the signs for Rome \/ Autostrada A1, passing the intersections for Torrita Tiberina (km 19.0) and for Ponzano (km 19.1)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 19.9 \u2013 197 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nYou leave the provincial road 15\/a at km 32.400, turning right for Civitella and after 100 m, right again following the signs for S.Francesco. You stay on via S.Francesco for 2 km, ignoring the side streets you come across<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 21.9 \u2013 205 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nAt a right bend, be careful: the main dirt road continues towards S. Francesco, we take the small road on the left that immediately begins to descend, becoming, after a house, asphalt<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 23.3 \u2013 83 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nTurn right and then continue along the embankment of the motorway, ignoring the lateral deviations on a partly asphalted surface. After about 3 km, a large waste container and the motorway underpass bring us back to civilisation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Km 26.4 \u2013 35 mslm<\/strong><br \/>\nOn the provincial road, turn left to return, in 1.3 km, to the starting point.<br \/>\nFor those who want, by travelling 300 m towards Ponzano, it is possible to visit the beautiful Romanesque church of S.
