The Municipal Theater of Forano is part of the cultural complex established over the years within the premises of the Istituto Opera Pia Giuliani.

The structure, already in 1930, was defined by Ulisse Francini as a place of “very educational and instructive productions, mostly referring to the early days of Christianity, almost always followed by hilarious farces, humorous monologues and specks”. The proceeds from the shows were donated to the kindergarten run by the Sisters of Charity of S. Vincenzo di Paola.

The venue is currently managed for the Municipality by the ForanoInMusica Association and has 80 seats.

There are numerous activities that take place throughout the year: theater reviews, book presentations, school plays, music and singing lessons and, of course, annual recurring theater courses for children and adults.
