The church of Our Lady of the Assumption is the parish church seemingly work by Francesco Rosa, even though the design and supervision seem to be attributed to the architect Carlo Fontana. It shows a single nave, oval plan with a semicircular apse . The High Altar, with green chives columns and Corinthian capitals – resting on marble bases with the coat of arms of the noble family Ricci now extinct in Cantalupo – is adorned with a painting, encased in colored marble frames, depicting the Assumption of the Virgin 1753 and St. Biagio.

Along the nave sides there are two chapels with full arc center. On the right, it is placed the Tabernacle in marble and bronze with the typical seventeenth-century shape, characterized by small columns supporting round arches decorated with festoons. In the central part of the broken pediments, we can admire five of the eight angels that complement the fine ensemble in harmony line.
In a chapel called the “Three Kings” there is a circular funerary urn from the Roman period that serves as a baptismal font.
The red brick floor, dating from the last restoration, has covered the existing tombstones with inscriptions related.
